History of the Danville Checkered Pig

After years of success in the catering business, at the original Pigs R Us restaurant in Martinsville, and with a nationally famous competition team, the new Checkered Pig Bar-B-Q and Ribs restuarant opened in July 2009 in Danville, Viriginia.  The Danville location features the same award winning meats and sauces, home made side dishes and desserts, and southern style customer service.  The Danville location is geared to fast service, and accomodates both quick service casual, sit down dining, as well as take-out orders, so it provides a different dimension to the Checkered Pig brand, with all the great food and service customers have come to recognize.  If you are really in a hurry, the Danville Checkered Pig offers a drive-thru window for your convenience.
